DIY: Removing/Debdging Rear "SUBARU"
1. Use a hair dryer to heat up the badge and soften the adhesive.
2. Use a 30cm cut of fishing line or dental floss to "saw" each badge off. Some letters are more stubborn than others but a continued "sawing" motion will eventually cut through the adhesive.
3. After the removal of each badge, use Big Kevs "goo remover" on the adhesive residue. This takes a fair bit of patience as the adhesive is very firm and could be baked onto the paintwork. Following the application of the "goo emover", clean the area with meguires scratch x. Note, on some badges, two or more applications of meguires scratch x will be required to thoroughly clean the area. Next, lightly polished the area with an old cheap non-abrasive polish before moving onto the next letter.
4. Give the surface where the badging used to be a layer of Meguires NXT wax to seal it up after the 'goo remover' and then polish the final surface.
Note: if you change your mind and want to put the "subaru" logo back on – you'll be looking at around $130 for the sticker
and the "awd"; "wrx"; "imprezza" badges are roughly $25 each too
