Over the past few months, rumors have circulated that the joint venture between Toyota and Subaru to develop an affordable, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive coupe has been delayed. Subaru has announced a second round of price reductions and added features, despite recent increases among several importers under exchange rate pressure.

Impreza RS recommended retail pricing (rrp) is reduced by $1000, while at no extra cost Subaru has now added:
